General Conditions

• The Easy German Summer School and Easy German Winter School lite (hereinafter referred to as "the Program") is operated as a collaborative venture between Easy Languages GmbH (hereinafter referred to as "Easy Languages") and GLS Sprachenzentrum (hereinafter referred to as "GLS"). Financial transactions and payment processing associated with the Program shall be managed and executed by GLS.

• This agreement shall be governed by the laws of Germany, and venue for any possible legal proceeding arising due to the administration of this agreement shall be in Berlin, Germany.

• Neither Easy Languages nor GLS are responsible for courses and activities cancelled due to force majeure.

• If a course at GLS has less than 4 participants, GLS reserves the right to reduce tuition from 90 to 60 minutes per double lesson.

• Students who need to receive original confirmations or visa support letters can request that documents be sent by express courier (at a surcharge, not refundable) by GLS.

Payments

Upon final booking confirmation, GLS will send an invoice by email. Full payment is due by the latest 3 weeks after the invoice has been issued. Payment must be sent without charges to beneficiary. Any bank fees deducted will be charged to the student directly upon arrival. Payment may be sent by wire transfers or by credit card.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellations are accepted in written form only. You can cancel your participation up to 8 weeks prior to the start of the Program. If you have to cancel at a later point, we can not guarantee a full refund.

Your Cooperation

By enrolling in classes at GLS, you accept their policies regarding students' rights to learn undisturbed.

• Please be on time to your morning classes at GLS. GLS doesn’t admit late comers 10 minutes after a class has started. 

• Please attend regularly, so as not to impede a class's progress. An attendance of min. 80 % is prerequisite for receiving a GLS certificate. 

By registering to the Summer School or Winter School lite, you agree to uphold our Inclusion & Diversity policy. Easy Languages, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to terminate a participant's enrollment in the Summer School or Winter School lite at any time and for any reason deemed necessary, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Photos and Videos

All participants agree that photo and video recordings may be made during their stay at the campus at GLS and during all Summer School or Winter School lite activities, and may be published by GLS and/or Easy Languages.

Insurance

Neither Easy Languages nor GLS are responsible for accidents and illness of a student during the Program.

Students are responsible for any and all damages they cause and must directly compensate the owner of the property involved. GLS offers a combined travel insurance package including comprehensive health, personal liability, accident, baggage insurance for damages incurred abroad (available at a surcharge, already included in junior summer camps).
